Take Husk, he snaps back all the time. You KNOW he'd leave if he could, but Al has him shackled just as tightly, if in different context.

I see this as Angel trying to put his foot down and making boundaries, not letting Val have him 24/7 like he used to because Angel had nothing else going for him. But now that he has Husk and the hotel, he's trying. That clause of Angel not being ordered about outside of the studio is really helping

While this IS hilarious, I'm pretty sure it's similar to Alastor getting stretched out and broken in his semi full demon form. Vox just gets buff and grows more wires and mechanical limbs.

I disagree. I think Angel can avoid going to work for only so long. As in, he probably only has to work a few times a week, but comes in more often (or is KEPT at work) because of Val. Because he's scared of being hurt or put through more abuse because of him. I'm certain he'd leave if he could.
