Definitely write to the BBC. If the broadcasters get enough public pressure it does effect their decision making. Don't underestimate the power of annoying them with emails until they beg to make it stop.

I guess my memories of Barrie are rosier because it was 10 years ago hanging out with college students 😅 Now I do remember a WTF moment I had of a “panhandlers will be prosecuted” sign at the main bus station 🫣

Eeep 😖 perhaps things have changed. Of course I was in Barrie just for college 😅 and at the geocaching events we didn’t really talk politics lol I’ve gotten really close with my geocaching community in Toronto

So I’d say get the geocaching app and do a couple of the easy traditionals to see how you like it. 😄 it’s kinda like a scavenger hunt for those ones.

There is a “geocaching” app which is the official one. Free users just get the easiest caches basically. Cachly app I think has a flat fee but you can use it for all non-premium caches.
The best advice I can give is to attend an event. Barrie has regular events where you can meet locals for tips 😊

Oh you have no idea. I went to Georgian college and found plenty in the Barrie Area. Orillia once hosted the COG mega event 😜 (500+ people convention) if you go to geocaching.com you can sign up for a free account and see almost everything. There are also two phone apps.

Do it! 😄 it’s a lot of fun. There are places I never would have found without geocaching. Like Stonehenge made of cars in Nebraska or ruins of a monastery underneath an art museum in Switzerland

There is an irony in the EBU banning both a song about European unity and the EU flag this year 😓 kinda describes the situation in Malmö

I'm so gutted for Olly. I gave him 5 of my votes (ROW) so he wouldn't get zero points 😣 The performance was really cool and I think the song gets too much flak thanks to overhype before release. I think a lot of people liked it but not enough to vote for it over their big favourite (same for Norway)

Ya and it was purely political voting. I saw so many posts of people saying “I’m not watching Eurovision but I’m giving them 20 votes” I was just stunned. Thankful we had a legitimate winner. Nemo was my second favourite and they are a wonderful person 😊 well deserved

Oh god & I forgot to mention Bambie Thug having to change their makeup 1hour before preforming. They had “ceasefire” in ogham script that EBU said was ok at first. There was a late night meeting about comments the Israeli broadcaster made about Bambie during semi 1
