So apparently the best way to get a kid to pick up all their toys off the floor is tell them that the floor needs to be clear so Santa doesn't trip over toys ...
Now everything has been doomboxed and is mostly in piles on a desk but I was able to run the vacuum so I'll take the win I guess.

So .... my super picky child actually ate a few bites of lasagna and a cinnamon bun .... for a kid who refused to try anything new for so long I'm so happy that they're actually eating new foods.
Like it's not regular eating a full meal but it is eating something other than a PB&J and goldfish.

The crazy thing at this point most of my regularly played games are technically 'indie' games. The very few big name games that I have bought *glares at ubisoft* are so full of micro-transactions and made me jump through so many extra hoops I've honestly just uninstalled them.

so after being a weekend/evening employee for going on three years our new corporate overlords (we got sold in january with no real warning) have decided that they are going to train us on epic and that training is only m-f 8am to 5pm ... they gave us less than two weeks warning before christmas.

And on top of everything being awful today I found out I probably need a root canal and oh yeah ... there are no in-network people in my county or any immediate counties. Closest county with an in-network option is over two hours away. So now my spouse is having to talk to our dental insurance ...

So my state has already been called for the orange twit ... and our amendment to protect abortion access got to 57% but it needed 60% to pass 🤦so yea ... god fucking damnit 🤦 and of course our shit heel of a governor is celebrating. I wish a hurricane would just blow them all away at this point 😩

I used to paint quite a lot when I was younger but it feels harder to find that time now a days. I mainly do watercolors, pencils and inks.
