If the source was open, I could see the Discover feed being significantly more exploited by spammers and grifters. Not that they cannot figure it out anyway with enough effort, but they could respond to changes much faster.

The decades of experience really showed. These guys provided a truely exceptional show that had us in awe the whole time.
