Maybe you can take them to the library? Let them immerse themselves. Kids are curious, so if they look around they might pick something up that interests them!

It's always so generic. It's one of the reasons why horror isn't taken more seriously because of movies like this. Nothing wrong if someone enjoys these kinds of movies, but there's also nothing wrong to bring some more creativity to the table from time to time

Exactly! But they always choose to do a typical slasher. Not sure why they won't just make original movies instead of using these Disney characters to create movies like this just for the sake of it
