This is a picture of the moon I took back in early summer. It's also the day I got stung by a yellow jacket for the first time, since I was so focused on the moon that I didn't realize I was right over a small yellow jacket nest. Got stung twice. Oops! I was swearing for a good ten minutes 😂
The moon is large and reddish-orange. There are a few small telephone wires and a cloud in front of the moon, the rest blending into the black of the night background.

Went for a walk on a date, saw some waves and turkeys.
A sand dune is on the bottom right of the picture, with some dune grasses on parts of it. It leads down to a walked-upon beach. There is a crisp blue lake dancing waves onto the beach. The sky is gray tinged with pink as sunset approaches. The sky is an orange-gray, it's almost sunset. The beach and waves are tinged with orange. There is a cresting wave in the middle of the picture. There are 8 turkeys on a walking path, there are parked cars in the background.

My mom and I took my son to a candy walk at a nearby nature center, and he was very excited that he (and mom and I) got to pet a snake. We got to be up close with an eastern screech owl (it is missing an eye because the place we went to takes care of birds who can no longer live in the wild).
My toddler son who has pale blonde hair is wearing a costume of Marshall from Paw Patrol. He is petting a snake, who is curling up the arm of the person holding it (the woman holding it is in a blue Victorian dress). An eastern screech owl who is missing an eye is perched on someone's hand.

Went on a walk today. The weather was great, the swans were out, and the leaves are changing colors.
The head of a mute swan, facing to the right and slightly down. It is somewhat dark in the shade, but there are mottled spots of brightness on the swan, and it's feathers are sprinkled with sparkling water droplets. The background is blue water. Green leaves layered vertically with the red leaves of a vine. Black and brown wooly caterpillar climbing over a small stick. It is crawling on a blacktop path. Green leaves are starting to change to red.

There are a couple of eagles who have been nesting for years now in a park about half an hour away. Here's a picture of one of them.
Bald eagle perched in a sparcely-leaved tree. The sky is not bright, but appears cloudless. The eagle's beak is open slightly as it screeches.
