‪So this leads us to the possibility that even if Russia tried to use its nukes - at best they probably won’t be up-to-par on quality standards. At worst it will probably be like the tugboat situation.‬

‪In fact just last month a brand new Russian Naval tugboat sank at the harbor before it could even enter service. The same thing happened with a Chinese nuclear submarine last year; and this May a North Korean naval vessel sank during its launch ceremony.‬

‪Russia and the U.S. have roughly the same number of nukes. (U.S.: 5,000; Russia: 5,600)‬

‪So what this means is that Russia uses nuclear saber-rattling to get concessions from the West, but it’s unlikely that they’ll be able to use them, or that they’ll even work if they did.‬

‪It’s not unknown for Democrats to fudge crime statistics to make themselves look good, so I’m excited to see what this report uncovers.‬

‪The Northeast and Southwest are ‘ok,’ not bad not good. The Southeast, however, has the highest rates of crime. Homicide, gang violence, you name it. While carjackings and shoplifting are bad enough, D.C. didn’t get its nickname as the ‘murder capital of the world’ for nothing.‬

For those who are not familiar, D.C. is split into four quadrants: Northwest, Northeast, Southwest, and Southeast. The Northwest quadrant is generally known as the ‘nicest’ part of town where the White House, monuments, and other tourist areas are.

When I lived in D.C. for two years a friend of mine who was a Coast Guard member commuted to the Southeast side of D.C., where the Coast Guard and Dept. of Homeland Security headquarters are. He said that the Southeast part of D.C. is like a literal war zone.
