“In like a TikTok filter” that AI is very likely not using up natural resources or removing jobs from artists. That app is not really generative AI either because it’s taking a photo and reworking it. Generative AI generally creates anew, not reworks a current.

Saying librarians are heroes for the things they do (clearly if you’re the kind of librarian that just checks people out blandly and stacks books you’re not the object of appreciation) isn’t hyperbole nor embarrassing. Thinking calling someone a hero means they have superpowers is.

I…think you’re misunderstanding what a HERO and what SUPERheroes are. Which is quite hilarious for a librarian so imma enjoy this one a lot thank you.

I was only commenting on the average and also what you’re saying is you’ve read 2017 stories/written projects. Not purely books. Totally fantastic and admirable, just logistically different.

It’s a whole thing about literary fiction. It’s because a lot of people don’t think sci-fi/adventure/fantasy are high caliber writing. So they trash genre books.

I have build 3 different computers. I have rebuilt each computer multiple times. I have attempted to fix cars. Succeeded and failed sometimes. Computers much easier to physically build and diagnose. The most difficult part is compatibility, PCpartpicker.com is great for that.

I genuinely just write and it looks less harsh on the eyes than any other writing program and I have never lost all my data because it got overwritten due to Google docs drive update issue
