I really liked the story and characters, their use of time travel could've been more interesting but it led to fun character arcs and stories, the twists were fun and recontextualised a lot of the game, and it plays and looks gorgeous.

Plus, despite my gripes, the English VA work's good

And on top of all that, Red Eyes Fusion needs to lose its summoning restriction yesterday, Dark Dragoon is not a strong enough card to warrant such a penalty.

That misaligned support means that there's a bunch of Red Eyes cards that have nothing or almost nothing to do with Red Eyes like Red Eyes Zombie Dragon or the Metalmorph cards.

Konami seems to have no idea what to do with it and no one else can agree on it either so they need to pick.

This goes beyond just "Not a good deck" btw, it's systemic.

Red Eyes rarely gets its alt arts put into stuff, it has (technically) 3 cosmetics in Master Duel, and never gets dedicated Red Eyes support as it's usually bundled in with Joey support.
