ACCOMPLISHMENTS TODAY. All the lumber required to fix the shed and the crawl space has been bought.

New hire Flight Attendant: $30.02/hour (as of April 1, 2024) Sounds ok, right? But here's the catch - nthat rate only applies to flight hours, not all the time you're actually working. 2. Monthly Hour Limits Flight Attendants are capped at about 75-80 flight hours/month. A typical ground job is about 160 work hours (40 hrs/week) 3. True Equivalent Pay If you spread that $30.02 over a full-time equivalent par kload [sic], it's basically 30.02 ÷ 2 = $15.01/hr 4. Unpaid Hours Flight Attendants work many hours that aren't paid at hour rate, including: • Arriving early for safety checks, briefing and boarding • Delays before takeoff • Deplaning • Sitting in airports between connecting flights (sit time) When you add those hours, the real hourly pay can drop below $15/hr — below minimum wage or even less.
