Binti Jua was released in 1996, when a 3-year-
old boy fell into the gorilla pit at Chicago's
Brookfield Zoo.
At the moment of the fall, the boy hit his head
and fainted. At that moment, panic began
among zoo visitors. People started screaming
when they saw a gorilla approaching, believing it could.

Going all the way back to 2016 for this encounter between a squirrel checking out a nesting great horned owl. The squirrel was actually nesting in the same tree right above the
owl.

These two beautiful horses had been born mates but
were separated a few months, This is what happened when they saw each other at the
horse park after their long absence from each
other.🫶

Just how giant is the giant
armadillo (Priodontes maximus)? Unlike other
armadillos--which can
roll up to defend themselves from foes-this
animal's size prevents it from hiding inside its
carapace. Instead, it relies on bulk to deter
predators.
