THIS!!! Folks don’t know how to separate “better role” from “better performance”. They on X trying to downplay Regina, but she def maximized the little she was given.

i think its bcus Regina is too respected as an actress to take a degrading role at this point in her career. Teyana is apparently sexing both Leo & Sean Penn in film.

Regina King wasn’t in Girls Trip that was Hall.. and Boys in the Hood would still be classified as drama. I just think Hall has the edge in more genres.

I truly believe the two are our top 2 black actress of this generation. If I had to choose, I’d lean more towards Hall since she has juggled every genre effortlessly.
