I think I found a way, it's a bit janky though.
Walk to the edge, left analoge can spin her when shes prevented from walking off the edge, then tap the look to see if you are aligned.
It's so much to remember...it's easier to just switch to tank 😩
"Quick-Tank" mode only works if you keep moving.

But how do you do fine rotational adjustments in Modern? 😅
I guess now I know about it I can use the Quick-Tank mode holding the Look button 🙃

How do Modern control users do that first initial aligning?
Do they move the camera and then take the out the guns for it to snap to that direction?

It's not really even "Look" in 456, it's more of a "tap to reset the camera"
Then if you hold it for 0.8 of a second the binoculars activate 😣

I gave up on Modern for 1-2-3 because of the Look being a toggle. That drove me insane. I kept wondering why she was frozen in place.
Another odd choice is calling it "Secondary" when saving your life with a grab should be Primary 😅

I think AoD was the first "Modern Game" so you would think they would like it 😆
The things they did first in AoD are now the core of modern games. Like long cut scenes and choosing what to say back from a list of options. They even copied the need for every game to have a day one patch 😅

I guess they must do it like that, it's not like the engine could do raytracing back then 😅 and most times the room has extra things showing that aren't on your side.

Ahh yeah, it was TR1 that was annoying with the crystal saves.
TR3 had crystals but I don't think they were saves in that game 🤔

Before I knew the trick I moaned at the official Twitter for setting a Photomode challenge where we had to use Flares.
They never mentioned it again so I might have dissuaded them incorrectly 😅🤦‍♂️

...and I just realised, they have no Photomode contest this time around 🙁

You could use them in 1-3 but you had to do a bit of extra planning 🙃
You had to light a flare, open Photomode, then select the flare again in weapons.

Then hope it emitted light...25% of the time it was broken 😩

I found a fix for AoD not having antialiasing, I just don't wear glasses. Nice and fuzzy now 🤣
Aside from Modern controls stopping progression in a few places and the lack of AA, I think it looks ok 🤷‍♂️

I have no idea how I got the "Deadly Obsession" achievement on Shadow 😅 That's the extra extra hard mode. I couldn't do it again today.

None of the videos showed the graphics mode transition for AoD. So people were speculating it was just the characters that got the upgrade.
Vanilla AoD still looks fine to me, So I'd have been ok with that 😄

Yeah, keeping secrets so we have surprises is nice. but telling us simple things like "Yes, AoD has two graphics modes just like 1-5" would have been nice 😅
