Civ2 is still one of the best in the series. I really miss the edutainment vibe from the wonder videos. Last year I realized it was ported to the PS1 and I just keep coming back to it now.

So @1upchuck.bsky.social noticed that my PS1 collection was mostly made up of story heavy multi-hour epics on a system known for its library of wacky pickup and play bullshit.
So to fix this we watched a 3+ hour long compilation video of gameplay from every US released, took notes, & compiled data.

I'm really getting into the battle system in Dragon Slayer. The game has two basic weapon types: straight damage or magic rods.
A damage attack can either hit, critical, or deadly based on stats. STR - Hit, Speed - critical, or Luck - Deadly.
I get full control over my character builds so.... 🧵
