Decided it was time to add a Bazzite install to my main laptop. Who would have thought Linux gaming would have evolved to the point where all my machines now have or dual boot some flavor of Linux.

Check those batteries! I spot check all the things at least once a year. This time I found my launch 3DS, a DS Lite, and a Dualshock 3 had turned into spicy pillows. Swapped out all my Dualshock controllers as these are still easy enough to find (tricky to replace).

So close to having every offline Final Fantasy on Switch. If we could get remasters or ports of XIII, XV, and XVI on Switch 2 then they could all be played on one console.

Switch Pro Controller 2 legit is a really great feeling controller. I think the secret is the sticks are gated so they never make contact when fully extended.

I know I've picked up several Switch 1 titles recently due to the increased performance making them much more playable in handheld.

Enjoy the torture of my first Switch 2 video capture. I like that it auto uploads to the Nintendo Switch mobile app now. Video quality is still a bit lacking on the capture. Need to try a true Switch 2 game and see if it's the same.

Dragon Quest X seems to perform flawlessly in Switch 2 so far. I've only tried it handheld so far so more testing will be needed but I was able to turn on the "1080p 60" mode which never seemed to hit those numbers before. I need to try it docked at some point.

Vacation project: Updated my Plex/NAS this week. Going from a 3rd gen i5 to a 12th gen i7. Added an additional 14tb hard drive to the raid array as well which should bring us up to almost 51tb storage. Using raid 5 so one drive can totally fail and data is still safe.
