I feel like one of the most basic skills lost in the modern era is a sniff test. For anything, really. If someone tells you, "Just hand me the reins," chances are theyre full of shit. But people still buy into random redditors confidently saying stuff like, "Privatize everything" as grand solutions.

I'm perfectly content backing Mills. I'm not sure how I wasn't clear in my previous response: I'd be happy to back any candidate with those stances that didn't have a Nazi tattoo. I disagree with the assertion that he's actually a Nazi. I have more faith in people who reform themselves than most.

Never said he was. No need to overlook it - If another candidate shared his policies and didn't have that tattoo, I'd be perfectly content backing them. I put more faith in the reformed than most people here and that's as evident as ever. For the record, your cult comment requires qualifiers.

This makes literally no sense. If a Nazi was running for a Democratic seat, they wouldn't have a tattoo. In addition, they wouldn't be an open Nazi - They'd be clean as a whistle. This would be really, really bad political espionage. I don't think you understand your own assertion.

If they had his same stances and goals I'd be all for it because his policies are literally in line with everything everyone here wants: Pro-choice, Pro-Palestine, Pro-Environment, get money out of politics - The list goes on. I'm just not one to lose the plot over an old tattoo.

I will also say that there's nothing wrong with pointing it out. From what I can tell, Graham is not telling people to shut up about it - He regrets it deeply and it should be talked about. But reform for it should also be brought up. It's not like he's saying it's a hit job (AFAIK) like MAGA does.

I'm a danger despite hating Nazi ideology and being Anti-Fascist? I voted for Harris my dear guy, you'd deprive me of that for pointing out that a guy with good policy goals in our current political arena isn't actually a Nazi? I enjoyed my time at my local No Kings. See you in the next one.

But none of his policies or positions today reflect the stances, feelings, or other statements of that regime. The tattoo was from 20 years ago. He acknowledges the genocide in Gaza, is pro-choice, wants money out of politics, etc. The list goes on and they're all awesome as far as I can tell.
