For yrs, in particular 2025, our team has been pushing for permanent, predictable recognition of our diversity & wealth of culture in Saskatchewan

Yesterday this diversity was shown the appreciation it deserves through…

Being able to recognize folks in the legislature as dedicated to bettering their communities as @rashidahmed.bsky.social is one of the great perks of being an MLA. Thank you for everything you have done and for all you continue to do for our communities @rashidahmed.bsky.social

. @saskparty.bsky.social amended our motion to scrap EV tarriffs to add (paraphrased):

“Scott Moe is the greatest leader in history. He was saying YEARS ago that these tariffs need to go. God bless Scott Moe and God bless the ground he walks on.”

All lies.

I elaborated a bit but you get the idea.

Had the absolute pleasure of standing in the Legislature today to give props to the @bluejays.com as they head back to the World Series for the first time in 32 years.

A poem for the Blue Jays:

“‘Twas the day before Game 1 and all through this house…”

Our visit to Denare Beach and Creighton was difficult but essential

The loss of more than 200 homes is staggering. When a single house burns in Regina or Saskatoon, the entire community gathers to mourn. Here, that grief multiplies — echoing across every street and family

Happy Back to School, SK!

All across our province, K-12 students have made their way to school this morning. They are excited to learn and I know the teachers and staff are going to provide them the best opportunities to learn and have fun all year

You know what's delicious? A BBQ in the park with great food from your local grocery store.

You know what's disgusting? The $25mil the Sask Party gov't rakes in from their PST on groceries.

A @saskndp.bsky.social gov't under Carla Beck would immediately stop the grocery tax.

Seniors like Jean shouldn't have their rent increased by upwards of 30% to line the pockets of out-of-province corporations.

Renters deserve protection. Visit RentControlNow.ca to contribute to have your say on our plans to protect tenants in Saskatchewan.

Jean Carroll is 86 and will see her rent increase by over 25% in 2026. She will be forced to move away from her home and her closest friends if Ministers Jenson and McLeod don’t do something immediately!

Please share this post and visit www.rentcontrolnow.ca to sign our petition and learn more.

The sales tax on snacks and some ready-to-go meals was introduced by the SaskParty in 2017. They have taken $25 million dollars a year out of your pockets since then. Some might say, it’s just a few bucks a year. It’s at least $20 a year per person. When should it end?

The Sask Party’s PST on groceries does nothing to help the growing financial crisis.

PST on groceries also means summer activities like camping, having a picnic or bbq have an added cost.

Let’s make life easier for the people of Saskatchewan.

Remove PST on groceries.

The #SaskParty collects $25mil in PST from families like yours at the grocery store.

It’s unacceptable during an affordability crisis.

I’m hitting the road to advocate for families across the province.

I’ll be at local parks talking about these hidden costs & need for change.

We live in the greatest country in the world and I couldn’t be more proud to be a Canadian. And if you’re reading this, I’m sure you think the same, too. Happy Canada Day everyone!
