Just noticed this in my notifications again — where is this even from? AI? The court found that is not libel to call Depp a wife beater because he abused Heard on 12 occasions and sexually assaulted her once. I really hope you don’t rely on whatever resource this is because it lied to you.

Jennifer Howell is a crazy woman with a vendetta and her declaration was not even admitted in court. If there was a court battle about embryos it would be easy to find those court docs. There are none, because it didn’t happen. It’s double hearsay. You need to take a remedial media literacy course

The thing is, Amber doesn’t even suck. I have to push back on this because every woman who is the victim of a smear campaign is said to suck, but all this does is make the actual rapist/violent abuser look better. Amber is actually fine as are we all

She had much more evidence than I did and she was destroyed. And yes, she was a little messy but so many victims are messier. I am keeping quiet bc I know the man who raped and hurt me would win the court of public opinion

It was a major silencing moment. Amber had so much evidence. I relate to what she’s gone through. I personally would never come forward or even say much about what I’ve endured bc I’m scared I’d face what she did. It matters bc it impacts all victims

It’s not so much a celebrity thing but that what Depp did destroyed the metoo movement and harmed all victims. Amber did nothing wrong, but now there are so many victims who will no longer come forward bc if a white, privileged beautiful woman was pilloried then what would happen to the rest of us?

And obviously there are more important things to care about considering the state of the world, but pop culture stuff contributes so much to far right radicalization that I think we can’t ignore it

I totally understand that, I just honestly think the mindset and the astroturfed social media that caused people to praise Depp and burn Heard at the stake legitimately led to what we’re currently dealing with, which is a rapist being president and so many being misogynistic weirdos (not you obvi)

Elon is the worst but she got a restraining order against Depp in May 2016. For all of the reasons that horrible man is sus, it’s not because she cheated. He’s a monster. So is Depp.
