I'm not buying that. Garland should've recognized the danger and prioritized prosecuting the leaders of 1/6. Instead he wasted precious time on prosecuting followers who are now pardoned.

It didn't fail. It was successful and then the key politicians and staff who rode the tide of the resistance into office failed to actually use the last 6 years to save democracy. They went about their business like the fight was done and they could go back to SOPs.
