$2000 will not cover much. It won’t cover outpatient surgery for anything, it won’t cover a hospital stay, it won’t cover a year’s worth of even one prescription and it’s not enough to cover the premiums on private health insurance for more than 1 or 2 months.

My soc sec comes this Wednesday, but after bills, food, and a flat tire, I ran out of $ over two weeks ago so I know what it’s like to count the days until money comes in. You stay home because there’s nowhere to go.

Today is Monday & now I’m hearing that some court has ordered those full SNAP benefits to be withdrawn? What’s going on here? Is this true? And what if people already spent them?? (And I hope they did!)

The problem with dealing with trump and his government minions is that they have no heart, no soul, and no empathy. They do not care that Americans are suffering as long as they themselves are happy. With normal people, the Dem’s plan may have worked. (I have no answers to this mess though.)
