But an undeniable amount of these sales is also down to the way her books are literally given their own separate shelves and signage in EVERY high street bookstore in the country.

Zac Gorman’s Magical Game Time collection is such a brilliant comfort read for me. Dude had such an amazing way of tapping into aaall the nostalgia of growing up playing video games in the 90’s.

I’m willing to bet money that a significant number of those children underperforming are Black and Brown children, especially if we’re going by the disproportionate numbers of them in jail as adults etc.
