"Do you think they're all alts that are trolling?"
Though, some points:
- Some colleges simply have less Splatoon players than others. YMMV, but outreach is super important.
- Your in-person social groups at college may overlap with the collegiate splatoon sphere, and whether or not this is "good" varies by person.
- Managing teams is hard work!

I wrote about my esports experience and coaching for other collegiate teams on my graduate school applications. I even brought them up in interviews!

This fall, I will be attending graduate school to get my Ed.S and M.S. in School Psychology. I don't think it could be done without my experience!

Through this esports program, I was able to meet a large variety of not only Splatoon players, but connect with those involved in other esports as well. It was really great being able to combine my interests and have it actually reflected on my resume - yes, you can write that down on a job app!

Lengthy response incoming!

What I did was... combine the aspects. There is a special comp circuit for college students only called the CCA!

I spearheaded the collegiate team at my undergraduate university and was able to cultivate teams underneath our school's larger esports organization.

I can't believe it's been 10 years of Jossi/dj/Potato doing all this nonsense. Her cruel words to you and your friends were unnecessary and horrible. Others in the community have tried to give her chances, but unfortunately it tends to end in more hurt. I hope she never bothers the community again!
