'Politicians, ugly buildings, and whores all get respectable if they last long enough' Lugh Mullen, arrested for words railroaded by laws designed to stigmatize
In England it's probably on some level conscious hate of the Scottish, which would explain JK Rowling moving to Edinburgh & making a big thing of her hair colour. English people are the most racist people on the planet, their twee icons are some of the most racist people to live.

Feigned incredulity over Scottish(with its anglo aristocracy) universities showing enthusiastic encouragement to English students while demoralising Scottish ones. Whether they are agents or just bitter, the only English who come to my nation do so because they see an easy target

All media in the UK has to cater to a population already bred on a culture of xenophobia & classism against everything non-English, and the English reproduce their cliques everywhere they go, and people wonder why Scottish representation is nowhere, the endless cycle.

Given the influence of the BBC and how little decision making about Scottish media is actually made in Scotland by the Scottish, anything is quite an achievement.

New research shows that London-based production companies have delivered majority of Scottish network quota hours for the BBC
A new report from Oliver & Ohlbaum Associates Ltd (O&O), commissioned by Screen Scotland, reveals much of the BBC’s “Scottish” network quota has been commissioned from London and produced by London he...

Bizarre headline for an article stating most of the unionist propaganda rags are English owned. Reform, jk Rowling, race riots, neoliberal Zionist captured parties but the problem is the US or Scottish Christians not the dirty English.

I saw the sun with mystic horrors darken
And shimmer through a violet haze;
With a shiver of shutters the waves fell
Like actors in ancient, forgotten plays!" - Arthur Rimbaud

If Londoners and the UK media can lobby Westminster to intervene on where China builds an embassy on land they bought an independent Scotland can intervene on this.

But Unionists don't want those levers

It's nice to know that not even a century in it was already a shitshow mess of old manchildren throwing everything at people for not being sycophantic enough.

In the past 12 months unionists have been caught putting cameras in toilets, having decade-long friendships with convicted CP dowloaders. I know some other things I could post but won't for reasons of defamation.

"Little wonder this country is a shithole."
They literally pick up this behaviour because the English students have no respect for Scotland, they are imitating the British hierarchy.

Unionists: Scotland would be beholden to foreign powers outside of the Union Also Unionists: Scotland is beholden to foreign powers and we love it.
These freaks hate the thought of their own people having the diplomatic carrot or stick; that's for Starmer to get sanctions off of Tory MPs.

It's no coincidence that Irish talent is in its ascendency while Irish conservatives are losing their monopoly on what is true. Right or left the conservatives are pure mediocrity.

The "no scandals" format sums up how I now view the world and I wish I had mentioned before I saw the meme.

There is a generational element to it as well, much like the boomers being the generation of "free love" and then successive generations of increasingly domesticated pod people

It took a grassroots student group to call out anti Scottish prejudice at a university in their own nation. Centuries it's be going on but it serves the English aristocracy not to report on it.

The very fact Scottish people feel the need to prove that they have the right to discriminate on their own community's behalf is proof of why having a state is an important first step. The only people who benefit from mealy-mouthed are those on top.

Part of what makes a culture healthy is people that others can identify w/ saying something universal. The BBC, which has an outside influence over Scottish media, prefers Scottish landscapes with English accents, in large part because they outright hate the accent.

Unionists don't see a problem because they lack a holistic worldview. They'll post "fix the potholes" because their worldview is so narrow they think the only reason anyone would choose to visit or stay in a nation is due to larping or just existing. Someone pays for a milieu.
NEW: Scotland's Culture Secretary has said he will intervene with the BBC and Ofcom amid 'shocking' reports about The Traitors.

It's been claimed that the show is counted as a Scottish commission despite the majority of its staff being based in London.
