I fully feel ya on that not having the energy for a new fighting game. It's just that this dude is so insanely out of place that it's almost hypnotic. His movement is so off-beat and then his big special is the most rhythmically pleasing thing I've ever heard in a fighter.

Yeah. You choose what trauma you take like Cold or Vicious and you're encouraged to take something related to the catalyst event

Luck comes quick, gotta worry about stress. Building up too much stress gives you trauma and at 4 your character is not fit to adventure anymore. You can clear off stress, but you can't clear trauma

There're elements of Star Wars, Star Trek and even bits of the anime Outlaw Star if you remember it. It isn't really designed for very long games, but it's a bit better imo than MOTW in that regard. 12 sessions is about the sweet spot we found while gaming.
