Boulder, CO has them and during the 48 hours I was there it seemed like folks didn't run reds. Note this map doesn't show all areas that are subject to photo enforcement. And, the red-light cameras also do speeding tickets, even if the light is green. I cannot find their speed threshold online.

I voted today then got home to a mailbox of gloss political mailings. I cannot figure out how LIUNA MN & ND can endorse the most progressive candidates for Parks Board and distribute the "Don't vote for union-busters" and also endorse Strawn Mayor Table Dancer®️™️. What is going on? #dontrankfrey

Dinner: umami-bomb brown lentil and rice- stuffed homegrown bell peppers with feta. And, warm sweet potato, Lacinato kale, aged salty Gouda with fresh-squeezed pomegranate vinaigrette salad.

As promised. It’s a good bench. I’ll vote for anyone who puts benches out like this.

For your viewing pleasure, the most vilified bird in the West seen along the Bluebell spur. (I worked on zebra finches forever ago).

The city also has e-bikes. I rented an acoustic cruiser from the hotel for $10/hr w/ helmet & lock. Several bike shops rent a range of bikes. I had intended to ride the B360 (24 miles) but ran outta time. Gravel bikes rent for 80-100 USD/day and cruisers fro as low as 30 USD/day. Great biking 4/4

The Boulder Creek multi-use path is a lot like the Minnehaha Creek trail in Minneapolis (see bridge underpass). And follows the creek mostly east-west, through parts of the CU Boulder campus and extending into a canyon with nice safety infra (see pic). 3/n

Two of the coolest features are the B360, a 24 mi loop around the city and the B180, a 12 mile loop. Most is on designated trails. I biked parts of each on a 10mi ride with the bike I could most easily use. 2/n

Boulder, CO biking review. There is an extensive network of trails and paths separated from autos. Many roads also have separated bike lanes, some with curbs but others with flex posts. Most all I biked on were “multi-use”. I saw a figure of 300 miles of bike paths and lanes (on street). 1/n

A few years back I had our poured front steps removed (3 steps) due to sagging and the bids to replace were 3-8K USD so I built my own. At the time I did look at pre-cast concrete, but none I saw were as nice as those you showed. Once these fail maybe I’ll opt for concrete.
