I did it! I fixed the faded and blue LEDs from my TV by replacing them with spares on eBay and watching a lot of YouTube. No specialist tools, just a screwdriver, a credit card, a table with a blanket on it and a cup of tea.

Fantastic 1hour #DungeonCrawlClassics session today, our 2nd hour in the funnel "Portal Under The Stars". Two more level 0 characters met grisly ends, and as the hour ended, we rolled initiative... seven determined peasants wielding rusty swords and pitchforks piling in on a gigantic snake demon.

There are webcams on flexible necks that you can put at eye level on the screen... I haven't tried these myself and can't vouch for them but I find the concept interesting! Here's an image of the iContact.

30 day film challenge - #3: A film with a number in the title. It's gotta be: 36th Chamber of Shaolin!! When his school is attacked by General Tien Ta and his henchman, student Liu flees into the mountains and is taken in by monks, who teach him Shaolin kung fu. A classic, incredibly enjoyable.

Early draft of my Beam Saber session record sheets created in Google sheets. The idea is that they will help me keep better records (my Blades in the Dark games have chaotic note keeping). Hoping to also have an NPC sheet that will automatically record NPC appearances and bios based on these.

I adored playing Sifu. A simple game with exceptional mechanics, a kung fu vengeance tale where your skill really matters. The anthology show “Secret Levels” has a Sifu episode and it absolutely nails the vibe of playing the game. Watch it! Even if you’ve never played. It will make you want to!

My breakfast this morning is kimchi scrambled eggs with garlic and spinach served on thick sourdough toast with avocado, topped with slice spring onion and black sesame seeds. Hitting many hipster notes I’m sure but damn it was good. Breakfast is my love language.

I will never tire of holographic book covers!!! I LOVE THEM! Absolution is the fourth book in the Southern Reach series (Annihilation, Authority, Acceptance) released ten years after Acceptance and being a prequel and sequel of sorts. Weird bio-cosmic spy/spook sci fi, incredibly written.

Anyone using Las Plagas as an Ozempic alternative? It’s gotten v popular in a rural Spanish village. Some drawbacks but the results speak for themselves. Look at this village elder before/after. Pic 1, baggy jacket, hiding his tummy, shamed. Pic 2 - beach body, killer waist, body positivity! #re4
