Just finished Oathbringer and I really admire how Brandon Sanderson pulls all of the characters and narrative threads together in his climaxes. George RR Martin always seems afraid or unsure how to do this, hence Winds of Winter never coming out as he struggles to figure out how to land the plane.

The nerve of George to put this at the end of the dunk and egg novellas… he wrote this message a decade ago and the last novella came out FIFTEEN YEARS ago. He could’ve written like 10 words a month and had like 2 or 3 more of these out by now.
