Oh yeah, 100% agree. And I think Red Sox pretty publicly agree with that sentiment as well. Just don’t see it with the contract but who knows. Regardless, I think it’s a really interesting dilemma to follow

I don’t think they’ll do it, I think Hamilton is maybe the most likely? Or maybe there will be some sort of surprise trade. The decision is probably a couple weeks out anyways

I really find it hard to justify running cedanne out there every day much longer. I don’t see how a Anthony-Duran-Abreu outfield isn’t easily the best configuration they’ve got within the next few weeks

Incredibly frustrating solution to a problem that should be nonexistent. They could be backing themselves into a weird corner if breg and story leave next year too. Feels like some of this stems from making Cedanne work since they already extended him. It was a good offseason but underlying issues

Definitely happy for Campbell and think he’ll be really good, but it feels like Breslow made his mind up about this a month ago lol

Yeah idk sorta feels like there’s a trend of breslow going down the second best path when the best is right in front of him 🤷🏽♂️. Hope I’m wrong though!

Am I reading too into or does it really seem that Cora prefers the bregman at 2nd configuration but Breslow wants him at 3rd. Feels like there’s been a lot of decisions like that

And with FSG not yet extending any of their Liverpool stars it’s clear that it’s purely an ownership issue. FSG clearly run good teams so it’s so frustrating to see this random change of heart by ownership to not invest in their teams

Feeling more and more likely we’re getting bregman. I like the rotation enough but I feel like it’s more likely buehler and giolito are both bad than both good

Unless Red Sox are absolutely convinced they can fix his fastball I feel a little confused. I’m not sure even a healthy Sandoval moves the needle this year or next. Are we even confident he’ll be better than Fitts and Priester the next two years?

If they’re not gonna spend on burnes or bregman, it makes me think their “big splurge” might be a reliever like Scott. Or maybe all the spending talk was a lie again

Now the Red Sox sign burnes and we’re looking very very good. Still feels waaayy more likely we end up with buehler or flaherty as the second addition but I want more!

I just keep thinking if you’re trying to fix the right handed issue go a little further and make the fit perfect. Seiya suzuki fit is so so good whatever it would take to get him is probably worth the extra effort of acquiring him. A Suzuki-Duran-Anthony outfield is doable and would be good

I’m confused what the configuration would be if we simply signed Teoscar. Would he play the OF most of the time? I don’t see him dhing too much with yoshida and I’m not sure I want him in the field. Would like the bat but the fit feels weird with yoshida and you lose the pick too

I feel like if Red Sox don’t get one of Soto or fried, it’s gonna be a really bad look after all the talk. Curious why you still think it’s very unlikely? Obviously odds are against it but feels like we have no idea what Soto is thinking. we haven’t see Boston go after a player like this in years

It just doesn’t make any sense to trade ur top young guys just to go sign an old 3rd baseman. Just sign the pitcher and keep the young guys!!!

I’m wondering if they’re willing to potentially spend on Soto they might actually go over the luxury tax. Not holding my breath but if they do they’ll be division contenders imo

It’s so sad to know that he’s not actually gonna come here. He’s sorta exactly what they need but I guess that’s true of every team. Still I miss the days where you had hope that the Red Sox did things like this
