As someone who loves jeans and also has shorter legs, I always liked the fact Uniqlo offered in-store alterations. Had a couple of pairs shortened when they've offered limited drops of higher end selvedge denim jeans (which lasted me 10+ years before being stolen by my son)...

Of course it was Will - not sure how I managed to forget someone who has been providing a valuable public service for quite a while now...

I'm sure someone in SEO used to do an annual rundown of supermarket mince pie taste testing, but I can't remember who it was right now...

I do break from tradition though by insisting on duck for Christmas dinner. It's much nicer than turkey, and it's hard to cook badly.

Plus I include various Swedish julbord food - rice pudding, red cabbage, and lingonberry jam for starters.

And now I'm absolutely starving...

I'm keeping a list of everyone who doesn't eat mince pies to try and make sure I cover their lack of commitment to Christmas
😜

However, I do have very strong feelings about adding 'twists' to the traditional mince pie like icing etc. That kind of thing should be listed as treason.

I love mince pies - especially with some cream or ice cream. It's one of the few things I don't mind being sold long before and after the actual event it's linked with...

I suspect eating that type of fruit/spice mix has declined for a lot of people during the rest of the year - hence excitement

It's this one: store.steampowered.com/app/481110/T... and it'll probably be in any Black Friday sale...

And from memory, pretty much all of it was filmed in the parts open to the public.

In my defence , it's named the Secret Nuclear Bunker by the owners - as you can see on the plentiful signposts from the M11 and M25, and on the nearby bus stop...

It's the 120 metre entrance tunnel to the Secret Nuclear Bunker at Kelvedon Hatch, just outside London...

Went there a few years ago with my son, but my partner had always wanted to visit after playing a videogame based in it (sensibly titled The Bunker), so we finally went back.

Not too much to ask - should be a task that takes about 10 minutes (slightly longer if you're waiting for a SSL etc)...

There's already been a lot of well-documented issues with AI/vibe-coded sites and apps.

Not that traditional platforms/approaches are inherently secure, but most have established systems and more separation with separate providers more focused on security for their own reputation/business.

It's less about their busy-savvy, and more about the lack of knowledge around basic security.

A lot of them may well end up bankrupted after privacy breaches and security leaks. And how many will ask a cyber security person to take a look before launching publicly?

If it's a decision between saving money and eating good Mexican food, it's not really a choice for me...

And when did you get posh enough to use benches, when there's perfectly serviceable ground to sit on? Gone soft in your old age ;)

Jeez - I've had some weird GSC queries over the years (particularly after a blog about a Twitter-connected bed was picked up by larger sites), but that's a pretty terrifying bug/data leak...
