Just some #photos I took in #hamburg on my Minolta X-700.
Still fiddling with the focus and composition. Kodak gold really makes even hazy days look bright.

On the left, a diversity of apartments sit directly on the canal edge. This wall of 18th century apartments is interrupted by two willows. The water is reflecting the blue cloudy sky. The entry of a tame brick expressionist apartment block. A deep green double door with white accents. Bushy hedges and a flower shrub line the tile connection to the sidewalk. The ground floor balcony is made of a brick wall, while the top balconies are green metal. Intersection of Lenhartzstraße, Eppendorfer Landstraße, Eppendorfer Baum, and Lehmweg. As seen from Eppendorfer Weg. Trees surround the intersection, hiding the apartments. Fluffy clouds peak forth behind the appartments, piercing the hazy blue sky. The easternmost ally of the Falkenriedterassen terrace apartments. An older streetlight marks the edge of a small green space where the cobbled street gives way to trees. The three-story apartments were built in the nineteenth century, to serve as worker housing for a nearby factory and streetcar yard, and are now operated by a tenant's union that originated from local activism in the 70s. A light fog almost sets you back to the days when coal smoke probably choked the area.
