Why can't the D's quit Larry Summers? He's a total tool, and everyone knows it (except maybe Larry himself) - plus he's been consistently wrong on economics. Or is he only still there because he gives the establishment D's cover for espousing pro-corporate economic policies?

As a long-time Software Engineer, I'm torn between "It's super-amazing and I want to ride one!" and "it's hard to write good software for even controlled environments, so this scares the 💩out of me"

The overall US EV business isn't doing as bad as that sounds: a lot of people pushed up their EV purchases before the Federal incentives went away. It'll rebound somewhat, especially if they start building cheaper EVs.
But Tesla is still hosed: stale designs, higher-priced cars, and polarizing.

This makes me very worried they'll find some way not to release them: "lose" them, hide them, release only some of them, "accidentally" destroy them, or just plain stonewall. I just don't see The Felon sitting there quietly & letting this happen. I wouldn't be surprised if he starts riots or a war.
