“War ravaged.” Shameless lie. I am in downtown right now. Just came down through the blighted stretch of Broadway between Hoyt and Burnside. Looks crappy as ever but hardly war ravaged. The fact that people believe this crap - gleefully devour it - is so damn demoralizing.
