Grow a cucumber from a seed and observe and notate its growth pattern, then when it has matured, assign the shape to a parameter in the music. Weave the music around the weave of the tendril.

The premiere of my work Dream Recorder (waking life version) at the New England Regional Art Museum as part of the symposium Towards the Multimodal Sensorium: Experience, Wellbeing and Creativity (which I also gave a talk at). So great to be in Armidale, 6 and 1/2 drive and totally worth it.

My video-essay was inspired by Varda's l’imagination des matières, a cinematic technique in which personality traits correspond to the material world. In 'La Pointe Courte' the character trait clashes are shown through the opposition of objects such as wood and steel. shorturl.at/6fYAY
