I was so lucky to be able to watch these fox kits up close a few years back. They were denning just a short distance from the trail.

One of my bucket list items done ✅ to photograph a working lighthouse at night. This capture was taken at Cap des Rosiers, Gaspé Que.

Tree swallows can fly between 40 and 50 km/hr or 25 to 30 mph.
Tree swallow mating behavior includes both pair bonds and extra-pair copulations. While they form strong pair bonds with a single female, some males may engage in polygyny, pairing with multiple females.

I used to see many of these beautiful birds in the park, especially in winter. Over the past few years I do not get to see too many anymore, the reason for this is unknown to me.

I only get to see this breed of bird in the winter, the White winged Crossbill. In this shot I really lucked out and captured an adult male an adult female and a juvenile all feeding on the same snow bank together.

While I was watching one loon parent with 2 chicks this other parent popped up in front of my kayak with lunch for the little ones.

My first encounter with an adult bull moose, to say I was ecstatic would have been an understatement. Last fall in Algonquin park was in my opinion one of the most exceptional autumn photo seasons.

A beautiful pose by this raven, there are two pairs of ravens known in the park. They are both very well known by the regular visitors, they can be quite entertaining at times and will seek out people to interact with.
