Back in April, I ended up joining @SlimmingWorld - largely because as a Manchester resident you got 12 weeks free but also to support my wife. I was skeptical but today I surpassed my goal of losing two stone! You can see the difference below and I'm feeling good! 💪🏽

Now that the dust has settled (personally) after the horrifying incident at the title parade, I'm reminding myself that although the day ended darkly, I had been part of the biggest and best party of my life. Although the memories will be tainted there will also be fondness.

Three years ago today I joined the BBC. It was a long-held ambition of mine and it's been a great education to work at one of the world's best broadcasters. I've learnt a lot, had some amazing experiences and worked with brilliant people. Some big changes ahead but I'm going to fully embrace them.

Finally got around to finishing this brilliant book on the history of African football by Ian Hawkey. Crammed full of fascinating stories, tragedy, anecdotes, colour and things that are unique to Africa. Would love to read an updated version if there's one in the works (keeps fingers crossed). 🌍⚽️

This is ridiculous. Being English has absolutely nothing to do with one's ethnicity but one's nationality and it is blatantly offensive to say otherwise. I was born in London which the last time I looked was in England. Denying your own nationality based on your own skin colour is absurd. ✊🏽🤝🏽🏴

A whirlwind trip to France to interview Liam Rosenior and Will Still ahead of their clash in Ligue Un this weekend. Huge thanks to both coaches and RC Strasbourg and RC Lens for being so accommodating. Should be a great game at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis on Sunday! 🔵🔴🟡
