Getting in good trouble on the ice and on the stage
Hard to put into words how many politicians I wish would take a page out of @bradlander.bsky.social's book. He took real action to help both individuals and city systems before the election, and he's still doing that now. He's principled and steadfast on his values, regardless of election outcomes.

I can't believe any Democrat would THINK of allying with Elon Musk.

I won't take money from the guy who does a Hitler salute. It's really that simple.

@pkrugman.bsky.social I was doing some light googling after a recruiter asked if I'd be interested in a job based in Los Angeles, CA. The salary is comparable to what I currently earn, but the housing is dramatically more expensive (~4x).

Started going to yoga every other day, how many weeks will it take me to get to 100 classes?

@hankgreen.bsky.social I'm a long time member of the awesome socks club. I love these socks, and I love supporting partners in health. But now I've got a lot of socks, and even as someone who moves around a lot, I'm accumulating more socks than I go through.

I, for one, welcome the “abundance” fight. It shows the left can fight Trumpism while wrestling with how we can be better than we’ve been.

I have no interest in “actually the government has been doing great” liberalism.

Every time the Senate meets, getting rid of Hegseth needs to be brought up. Grind the business to a fucking halt until that fucking moron is no longer around.

Few things get me as heated as demonstrably bad pet owners blaming their pets for their owners' negligence.

God the Dems really would rather shoot themselves in the spleen than get behind progressive policies, huh? Folks are begging for Obama to speak, when the future of the party already is speaking. His time is over, get behind people like AOC, Tlaib, and Crockett.

No song more perfectly captures the mentality of a perfectly sublime moment than the opening to 1979 (including, ironically, all of Sublime's discography)

Missed everything after period one of the national championship today because I had to go get thrashed at beer league. Damn.

When I lived in Columbus, the team captain of the Blue Jackets (Nick Foligno) partnered with a giant national pizza chain to offer his favorite pizza locally. The toppings on that pizza (pepperoni, sausage, onions, banana peppers) absolutely slap, and are my go-to for trying a new pizza place

In this interview Schumer says he agrees with Trump’s decision to pull $400 million from Columbia. A university in his own state. And he’s unconcerned about the unlawful arrest of Mahmoud Khalil, one of his constituents.

He is a traitor who needs to resign.

The institutional Democratic Party is guided by an almost pathological level of conflict avoidance in almost every direction. “What can we do to make the least number of people mad?” is just a bankrupt way to operate.

Look I get that dating apps are scams with trash algorithms, but bumble putting an apolitical pickleball player in front of me really is saying "idk, here's a live woman, fuck you"

The DNC looked at election losses and really said "we didn't sell out enough marginalized communities" instead of "we've let our tradition as the party of working people erode". Fuck.

Given that corporations raised the price of eggs far more than the impact on availability by bird flu, I will not be surprised when the tariffs are cited as the reason everything, even American-made goods, are considerably more expensive.

25% tariffs? Might as well raise prices 100%.
