In my entire lifetime, 66 plus years, USSR/Russia has not been a friend or ally of US. Russia is not our ally, not our friend. UK, France, Germany, Canada, Italy, Greece, Poland, Austria, rest of NATO - they are friends, allies. RUSSIA - NOT AN ALLY!

NATO, arguably the most successful treaty alliance in history, has provided some of the foundation that has allowed the US, Canada, and Europe to prosper for the last 80 years. It would be a colossal mistake to blow it up, President Trump.

Since NATO countries can no longer rely on the USA to lead the alliance, and which currently rely on America's nuclear umbrella/deterrent, you will see the proliferation of nuclear weapons in Europe beyond the UK and France. Germany and Poland will be first followed by others.
