I went to the fancy 109 Cinemas Premium location in Shinjuku today for showings of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi today. I had never seen them in theaters up to this point. Still my favorite movies and what a blast! They even had cosplayers!

Xenoblade Chronicles X came out ten years ago today in Japan. It took me awhile, but I rolled the credits on this one and wrote multiple articles, including a review on this, at the time. Really enjoying my current replay of it on the Switch for the first time in English.

I can’t believe it. I won the lottery here for a Multi-Language Switch 2! This came via a notification via the My Nintendo app! If you have that on your phone and applied for the lottery, check it out! It was not showing up on the web version.

Okay. Awesome! Looks like I have a Switch 2 GameCube controller pre-ordered. If you’re in Japan, try out the My Nintendo Store online before they’re all gone!

I wonder how many of these are eligible applicants (Japanese accounts, 50 hours of gameplay, etc).The wording from Furukawa didn’t seem to specify that.
A whopping 2.2 million fans entered the first Nintendo Switch 2 lottery via the My Nintendo Store in Japan. You can read more details about this, the second lottery and more below. If you're in Japan and want a non-Japanese system, this is the ONLY way to get one.

Got my physical copy of Xenoblade Chronicles X today. Amazon Japan had a “stainless tray” option, so I went with that. Let’s be real, it’s just a fancy ashtray. lol!
