Nice to see you (-: thanks for all the likes.
I believe I still have that axolotl model too.

Thank you (-:
I'm not great at animation so that's reassuring to hear.

It's hard to say at this time. I wouldn't be opposed, but I'd have to come up with a way of doing it where I can still work on my own things.

These kinds of things take time, getting good at something takes time.

I hope I can continue modeling and improving for a very, very long time, and I am thankful I was even able to begin doing this hobby. I hope to one day be able to look back on my current work. Thank you.

I only knew how to draw, but I felt as though I couldn't quite achieve the sort of style I really wanted through that medium, I felt like I should move up the ladder, so to speak. Ever since then I've loved 3D modeling, even back when I was really bad at it.

I remember the first time I tried Blender it was still on ver. 2.7, which if you've ever used it you know how clunky it can feel, so I actually gave up on it for a while; it wasn't until maybe a year after that I decided to give it another shot, by then 2.8 had come out which was much better imo.

My style is already reminiscent of early CGI so for this I just had to go all in on that aspect. Simple textures, saturated colors and a touch of psychedelic flare.

This cover was made for the album "Carnival Tea" by "Jelly thing". They very much wanted something in the style of those really early CGI showcase movies which is pretty apparent from the final result I think. This was pretty fun to work on.
