About 6 weeks ago, my beautiful pup was hit by a car. Her leg was so damaged it required amputation. She is healing well & has resumed her self-appointed duties as Guardian of the Realm, keeping us safe from squirrels, armadillos, low-flying vultures and Mysterious Noises.

Spent the morning walking the pasture and collecting horse mint (monarda citriodora) seeds. I think they’ll look amazing in a mass planting with mealy blue sage, since they both grow so tall? 🌱
