The creative industries are one of the UK’s greatest exports. Our wonderful music, musicians and creativity are at risk if government continue to side with AI and big tech.

The message is simple - #MakeItFair

The UK already has gold-standard copyright laws. If government let AI companies bypass this to train their models, our creative industries will be dismantled.

For the future of music and all creativity, we urge government to #MakeItFair 🎶

Is This What We Want?

Over 1000 musicians have come together to release a silent album protesting the UK government’s proposed changes to copyright law. This is the harsh reality we face if AI companies are allowed to steal our music.

This sounds tedious, but it is v impt. Govt is threatening to dismantle copyright and give tech companies free access to what you have created so that the machines can ingest your work and exploit it without payment. Make your voice heard and respond NOW. Say no. @ism-music.bsky.social
Time is running out to have your say on the government's consultation on Copyright and AI. Our guidance has made it straightforward for musicians to stand up for music and our rights.

Don't miss your chance. Consultation closes in just a few weeks 👇

Last week ISM Chief Executive

This matters. You need to do this @ism-music.bsky.social
Write to your MP to let them know why creative rights must be protected against the threats of AI. It's important that all musicians and creatives have their say👇
