For the entire year until August had a one hour block of free time between my two jobs. Every day I would play a single run of DOJBL. The best I've done is getting the loop 1 boss down to 1/4 health on one credit, then I started choking. I still don't have the clear but loved savoring it.

I've read Murder on the Orient Express but haven't read The Hollow yet. Will check it out when I'm next in a Poirot mood!

Which one? I got super into both Christie and DOJ over the Summer. Finished a bunch of Christie, still don't have the clear on DOJ.

I love DQ1 a lot

Minstrel Song and Frontier are my go-to entry points. Revenge of the Seven probably works too. Just play what looks cool and vibe with it.

Minstrel Song is peak, but I did go back to play the SNES one and a ton of the wild stuff it does is somehow already there.

That’s true! Anyone looking for an arcade game should know that Mushihimesama Futari’s Xbox 360 port now runs perfectly on Xenia with full DLC support. It’s an incredible challenge but awe-inspiringly well crafted and compelling.
