I would very much rather give Echeverri the chance and bet on Foden bouncing back with more minutes than sign Olmo. Would also rather sign Simons, Baena, Cherki, etc. Olmo makes no sense imo.

True

But it would be cool to see Bernardo get to go on a free back to Benfica and Stones go back to Everton or something

Telling them they're not CL registered could be dicey tho, thats a tough one to swallow for a veteran who's achieved what they have

Yeah not the end of the world for me if Stones runs down his contract as I think his injury record has depleted his transfer value, I'm fine keeping guys like him and Bernardo around for experience and letting them leave for free next summer

Think Guehi is more of a sure thing and more ready to play at this level now, but it's odd that we haven't heard more about whether or not any of our CBs are leaving so far.

There were a lot of confusing decisions. Khusanov and Nico getting stuck on the bench has been frustrating. I think Pep has truly had the worst season of his entire top level career this year in terms of his actual performance/decision-making

I think Pep kinda always plays his backup GK in domestic cups so I'm not upset about that, but I hate that he has brought Akanji back in to this system for no reason when it was working well with O'Reilly, Gvardiol, Dias, and Nunes

Wouldn't mind this tbf

Can't see him starting ahead of Dias at RCB when he's healthy and Pep seemed to like the partnership of him and Gvardiol for the future. I really like Khusanov and hope he plays a ton next season.

And now Ornstein reporting that we're going for Reijnders from Milan in addition to MGW and Wirtz. Holy smokes.

Would love to see him at the Club World Cup 🙏🏻

He looks really good but I'm not sure he's going to get minutes in the #6 or #8 positions at City with Rodri and Nico here and possibly Gibbs-White coming in. Also don't think Kóvačic is leaving this summer. If we can cash in big and re-invest in players with world-class potential i'm fine with this
