Sorry , I stand corrected. The graph is stacked absolute emissions. But unless I am reading it wrong, it shows total emissions in n Texas declining since about 2010. Not shown directly but implied on the graph is that generated electricity has grown quite a bit since then.

I have a bunch of stations across the US and Canada, other favorites are out of Portugal and the Azores, but my standout favorite is Radio Babel out of Montevideo, Uruguay. Eclectic jazz, classical, with lots of bandoneon!

Trump knows what’s “criminal” and what isn’t. Good for Trump for freeing an investment manager just 11 days into a 7 year prison sentence. So what if he paid dividends from his investor’s money in a Ponzi scam and his investors lost their life savings? They should have known better- losers! /s

It is the inconvenient truth. The other is that renewables keep the prices down. Solar and wind set the daily market rate. Natural gas has to grudgingly sell at the same rate. Here is the Texas grid on Nov 2, 2 pm. 71% of the electricity came from solar and wind!

50% of the Texas electrical grid is solar right now. Amazing. Not very many years ago the max contribution from solar was a few % at best. Green policy by the Texas govt? No, it makes $$.
