PayPal was acquired by eBay over 20 years ago, then spun off into its own company again 10 years ago. Unless he holds stock from eBay, and then again after the company spun off, I’m not sure he benefits directly.

I just read a terrific article advocating for this in The NY Times last week! They proposed 6 political parties, showed how it would break down. There’s even a quiz that places your views into one of these parties.

School fundraising is constant! It’s weird too, because it’s not a guaranteed funding source so it’s used for discretionary spending. That can make it hard to figure it exactly what the money is for.
