1. It’s not the fog of war if the other people aren’t shooting back. I spent years in the Pentagon…there is no war there.

They will simultaneously say Afghanistan was a failure due to poor leadership despite overwhelming firepower. (And they might be right).

But then they’ll argue that leadership doesn’t matter despite the firepower disadvantage AND the observable facts on the ground.
