Especially since they include features (stereo samples, pressure-sensitive buttons, onboard microphone) that are absent from competing devices that cost $100-300 more. Sorry to be pedantic but want to support companies when they provide good value instruments!

Sorry but I don't think this joke makes sense in this context. While most of TE's products are way too expensive, the EP line are actually quite affordable for what you get. A lot of people who keep an eye on this space were actually shocked at how cheap they were when they were announced.
