So many indignities on queer people are inflicted by our parents who are supposed to protect us. And yet the national media is *incapable* of ever doubting the motives of a parent when it suits their wider narrative work to eliminate trans people from society.

I find it galling because the more I read on her behaviour the more she reads like the ashamed parent of a gay person in the 80s dying from HIV/AIDS complications. Desparate to ignore the reality and would rather remember brianna as a confused led astray cis child than ever admit she was trans.

As much as this is an understatement idk why people want the tone of these ban announcements to be "we suck and we are awful at our jobs and we secretly want magic to be bad and enjoy ruining formats because hasbro makes us". Vivi isn't a nadu level mistake, it doesn't need a struggle sesh.

unironically I suspect the new UW aang will be potent enough, airbend in TLA as well. The format does have answers if it slows down.

I personally hate curiosity with the passion of 1000 suns, its just offensive once it hits the board, but I think it can be planned around, you can 1-for-1 dimir through effective blocking or removal. If you have a deck which blocks fliers well dimir really struggles.

this section just seems really damning for three year standard, I am excited to play the format for the first time since the summer though. Agree on Nemesis, it is a great card and I'm personally sad to see it go (because I don't actually agree its too good) but it does end too many red weaknesses.

Curiosity is now the best card in the format but Dimir Midrange was reigned in last year within a couple of months of it being the top deck. Its a powerful package but I think it doesn't deserve a pre-emptive ban. Ultimately you can attack it a lot more as a deck because its a value pile.

AI can't understand layout or location because (well it doesn't have any ability to do reason), tell it that you take the door through your stairs to get to the attic and it will believe you.

Along a similar vein AI can't do erotica very well because it invents orifices and penises and has humans contort in ways they cannot, because AI doesn't understand that your head isn't next to your genitals.

My tip for getting people to understand that it just makes shit up is for them to ask it about something they already know a lot about. A TV Show for example. It will invent plotlines, misattribute things. Its extremely hollow and shallow.

Keir has the kind of deference to power and faith in institutions that means once something is law he believes in following it forever. Often useful skills in a civil servant, terrible instincts in elected office. Man needs a framework imposed by others in order to follow it.
