True. The people unfairly hating on MCU Carol have no idea how unbearable Civil War 2 Carol was. She became better, yes, but that was pure character assassination. Fuck every storyline that forces the Heroes to fight each other for arbitrary reasons because they had no good villain they could fight.

It's what I've been saying for the longest time. The comic fucking sucks. The MCU did us a massive favor in only lossely adapting the comic to fit its own narrative, and it was phenomenal.
MCU Civil War > Comic Civil War.
Civil War 2 is so much worse, severely damaging Carol Danvers' reputation.

It's what I've been saying for the longest time. The comic fucking sucks. The MCU did us a massive favor in only lossely adapting the comic to fit its own narrative, and it was phenomenal.
MCU Civil War > Comic Civil War.
Civil War 2 is so much worse, severely damaging Carol Danvers' reputation.

RWBY fighting bizarro versions of themselves is still a good enough idea to not just throw away. But instead of fighting versions that shuffle existing traits around, the classic trope of fighting clones that amplify all their traits in a negative manner (i.e. Nemesis Prime) sounds more appealing.
