It's insane to see a billionaire demand MORE. Inequality is already so insane. It is in your best interest to lobby for taxes to be way, way, waaay higher, because there is a tipping point and we are fast approaching it, and the alternative is much, much worse, according to history.

this is a way to provide extra barriers to make it harder for ordinary people to receive benefits like this. more paperwork, cut-off points, increased funding for filters and obstacles rather than straight-forward services provided.

people were saying we can't speak up for Palestine/muslims because we needed to win for trans and gay people, and "don't make perfect an enemy of the good." And now they even want to cede that! the polls indicate that it's unrelated issues anyways, like inflation and ossified leadership.
